You're quoting Jung to prove religion blocks enlightenment, while I'm suggesting religion as a potential launchpad - not the destination. The irony is delicious. Your passionate defense against organized spirituality reveals the same tribal attachment you're critiquing, just from the other side of the fence.

Think of religion as training wheels. Sure, you'll never learn to really ride while they're on, but they might help you get moving. The key isn't to rage against the training wheels - it's to outgrow them. Your ice cream analogy is perfect, by the way. Religion is comfort food for the soul. But here's the twist: Sometimes you need that 10 PM ice cream to realize you're stress-eating your way through existence.

The real question isn't whether religion helps or hinders. The question is: Who's asking? Dig there.

Cheers!🎭
