Kundalini: The Great Awakener
Every morning, I take a deep, grounding breath before stepping into my yoga practice.
As Kundalini ascends, it’s like a deep cleanse for the soul. Imagine your body is a dusty old mansion. Kundalini? It’s the housekeeper.
As it rises, it sweeps away all the cobwebs and illuminates every dark corner. But instead of old memories, it’s dispelling our psychic blockages. After my first awakening on that fateful October evening a few years ago, Kundalini became a frequent visitor. Not just in deep meditation, but in the most unexpected moments.
One night, while simply preparing for bed, it struck. Out of nowhere, a powerful sensation began its ascent from the base of my spine. And just as it crescendoed, everything clarified — a state of non-dual clarity enveloped me.
Kundalini wasn’t a fleeting feeling; it repeatedly became a transformative guide, unveiling profound truths each time.
Your Self: The Essence of You
The Self isn’t just another term for ego. It’s far more.
It’s the core, the essence, the universe within you. I’ve often written about the time when I had a sudden enlightenment watching TV. It wasn’t just a profound insight. It was a rendezvous with the Self, my timeless identity. After that first awakening, through kundalini experiences, I’ve unraveled layers of my being, revealing the boundless universe inside.
