Ah, my friend, your words do me a greater kindness than I deserve. Isn't it fascinating, this carnival of spiritual teachers, gurus, and philosophers we find ourselves navigating? So, you're a David Hawkins fan, eh? The chap did have a knack for melding science with spirituality, wrapping it all up in a neat package complete with a bow—or, in his case, perhaps a logarithmic scale of human consciousness. A fascinating endeavor, to be sure.

Here's the kicker, though—every teaching is a mere pointer. I appreciate Hawkins's knack for articulating spiritual intelligence, and his works offer valuable insights. But let's cut through the conceptual layer: All these spiritual teachings can't give you something you don't already have. Radical non-dualism asserts that there's nothing to attain, no higher rung on the ladder of spiritual advancement. You're not becoming more conscious; you're simply peeling away the illusions that suggest you're not already there. A nice paradox, isn't it?

Radical Non-Dualism: The undercurrent that sweeps away all other paradigms, affirming that what you are is already whole, unchanging, and free.

Illusions: The scaffolding of the egoic self, built layer upon layer through our identification with form, thoughts, and emotions.

So, while Hawkins is a compelling voice in the spiritual dialogue, my experience reminds me that the ultimate wisdom lies not in any teaching but in the direct experience of our true nature. It's not about transcending; it's about recognizing.

Direct Experience: That flash-in-the-pan moment when you see, really see, that you've been the boundless ocean all along, not just a wave.

Hope this adds another flavor to your spiritual smorgasbord. Wishing you clear seeing on your journey, Eric.
